You can delete your Sketchling account and all of its data at any time, in the app or on the web. If you cannot sign in any more, send us a request by email.
Option 1 · In the app (Android, iOS)
- Open Sketchling and go to Settings (or tap the profile picture to open the menu) → Account.
- A grown-up check appears first: answer the maths question.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm twice.
The account is deleted immediately and the app signs out and returns to the welcome screen.
Option 2 · On the web
Go to sketchling-web.pages.dev, sign in with the same account, then Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm.
Option 3 · By email
Write to sketchling@hinayurilabs.com with the subject "Delete my Sketchling account" and the email address of the account. We may ask you to confirm that you own the account. We process requests within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- The account: account id, email address, password hash, sign-in tokens, language and country settings.
- All child profiles: nickname, age, avatar, signature style, onboarding answers.
- Progress: lessons, sparks, levels, skills, collections and creatures.
- Drawings and photos in cloud storage, including creature cut-outs, and journal details.
- Voice survey recordings and feedback messages.
- Share links and the comments left on them.
- Reminder settings and push notification tokens.
- Subscription and billing records, notices, invitation codes.
- Usage analytics events linked to the account or to its app installs.
What may be kept
- Encrypted backups are replaced on a rolling basis; deleted data disappears from them within 14 days.
- Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own purchase records under their own policies.
- Anonymous totals that cannot identify you (for example, "lessons finished this week").
Subscriptions
Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it first in the store's subscription settings. Web subscriptions are cancelled automatically when the account is deleted.
Delete only some data
You can also delete a single drawing (Journal → drawing → Delete) or a single child profile (Profiles) without deleting the whole account, and turn off analytics in Settings.
