HinaYuri Labs is an independent studio based in Vietnam. We make apps for children and families — learning, creativity, music and life skills — that grow with a child from their very first years until they're grown.

Why we exist
To help children grow up curious, capable and kind — with technology that knows when to step aside.
A better future for children, where every app a child opens is made the way a loving parent would make it: gently, honestly, and with their whole life in mind.
How we work
We're deliberately small. That means every lesson, every word and every line of code passes through the hands of people who care about the children using it.
We design for the real world: older phones, patchy connections, busy evenings, several languages at the same dinner table. And we test with real families before anything ships.
Child safety & privacy, by design
- Grown-up checks before settings, purchases, sharing and links that leave the app.
- Data minimisation: nicknames instead of names, no precise location, no advertising IDs.
- Families can see, export and delete their data at any time.
- We follow the principles of COPPA, the GDPR (including its rules for children) and Vietnam's Decree 13/2023 on personal data protection.

Their world stays theirs
We collect only what an app truly needs, never sell or share data for advertising, and make deleting everything easy. This website doesn't even use cookies.

No ads, no tricks
No advertising in our children's apps. No nagging streaks, no loot boxes, no buttons designed to be tapped by accident. Anything that costs money or leaves the app sits behind a grown-up check.

Real learning, beyond the screen
The best moments happen on paper, at the piano, out in the world. Our apps teach, then step aside — so time with them leads somewhere.

Every lesson is drawn, sung and played at our own kitchen table first — by Hina, Yuri and their friends, who are honest critics.
